During my stay in Ida Hotel, im quite dissapointed with the staff especially the receptionist and the waiter in coffee hse. They are not helpful and didnt even smile to the customer. The staff should be more welcoming and friendly to the customer.

the hotel in general is ok but a few reasons we would not come back is the choice for breakfast is limited. the room above us makes a racket in the wee hours of the night. we couldn't get enough rest due to that. Could improve on that.

After having a look at the standard rooms we found that paying the extra for a deluxe bungalow wasnt worth it. Standard rooms are closer to the pool and restuarant. Our outdoor bathroom in our deluxe bungalow was not the same as the pictures I had seen on the internet....However the room itself was clean and lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming, location was a major plus....and the hotel itself was a nice small hotel that I would consider staying in again.

Please change the door lock/padlock. It can easily be broke up. any person with an intention to steal may have easy acces inside the room.
I hope also the road going to the hotel should be pave. Either using cement or sand and gravel. It looks sore to the eyes. Overall, the location, the staff is great.
Surely, i will keep in touch as i have plan my vacation again on Aug 2009. See you then.

The arranged pick up/car charge from the airport to Ida Hotel is rather too expensive: 4 times more than an ordinary taxi.

There is more to do with mosquitos and also with reservation. I made a reservation for one bed, got 2 beds in the room but had refused so they changed it for me. Very nice employees but they need more training how to handle hotel service. Oh by the way, those towels need to be changed please, otherwise everything just fine.

Overall enjoyed our stay here. It was a short walk from the bars, shops. Lovely pool and bar area with freindly staff. The only let down was the rooms. We booked a standard - very standard. It looked like it could have done with a good clean. Bathroom mirror was filthy and when we tried to clean it, it fell off the wall. Our neighbours had ordered room service and the tray with left over food stayed there for the 2 days we were there, not pleasant in the Bali heat.
However saying this, the staff were extremly friendly and the pool area lovely. The room was bearable for the 2 nights we were there. If we needed to stay longer I would stay there however I would upgrade the room.

We like the location of Ida Hotel Bali, because it's quite near to Kuta beach and shops. Although it's old, the swimming pool is pretty good. The service is excellent, and most importantly is the price within our budget. A place can be considered to return.

i spend 1 day without electricity,1 day without running water,and when they change my room they gave me one that the bathroom smelled really funny(or bad if you can say).Very expensive hotel depends on the services.

Great place to stay, lovely staff and a clean venue. A quiet hotel with not much happening or do to which is a shame. Everything shuts down at 11pm! would be great if it stayed open for longer and had some sort of entertainment and late night eating. Overall it was great value for money and would recommend this place as well as revisit it, besides there are plenty of places to go rather than staying at the hotel. Close to all the main shops and the beach but location of the hotel itself is unfortunately tucked away down a long dark alley way…not good if you are traveling alone at night….use a cab.

Floors of room & bathroom need good scrubbing, bed was creaky (very old). Swimming pool, jascuzzi & having massage facility at poolside is GREAT! hotel room rate was ok but taxi at USD18 (airport transfer) was a rip off considering it's only 10 mins from airport. I do not mind going back to stay at Ida Hotel provided the room & bathroom floors are scrubbed clean. Wooden bed needs to be changed considering we are slim people.

It was a little frustrating to miss breakfast on checkout as we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to appear to then check us out. Aside from this, we did stay again at the end of our time in Bali and had more time to appreciate the hotel. The pool was great, which we couldn't take advantage of on our first stay as we were being picked up at 7.15am. The location is also excellent as it's close enough to the centre but quiet and away from the bustle.

The gardens are beautiful and the included breakfast buffet was fantastic. Massage by the pool, close to the airport, beach and transport. The hotel also stored our excess luggage for several days free while we travelled around Bali.

Lokasi lumayan karena cukup dekat dengan pantai tetapi jalan masuk ke hotel akan lebih jika di perbaiki lagi. Fasilitas di kamar nya juga kurang (tidak ada aqua dan sikat gigi). Tapi secara keseluruhan semuanya OK dan cukup memuaskan dengan harga yang kami dapat.
Translation:
The location is ok, close to the beach but the entrance to the hotel can be better. The room facilities are lacking (no drinking water or tooth brush). But in general everything is ok and good value for the money we paid.

Cleanliness: Spot on! rooms serviced every day.
Facilities:Good, rooms have new a/c,fridges and T.V's.Lovely spa and pool.
Restaurant,bar and gardens always clean & tidy and attended by friendly staff.
Service: Excellent, nothing is a problem for any of the staff.Security is good and safety
deposit boxes at reception give peace of mind.
Location: Even though it is right in the heart of Kuta, close to shops, beach and
entertainment, very quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise at all.
Rates:Reasonable and affordable as long as they don't keep creeping up.
Slowly increasing.
I have stayed at the Ida Hotel four times since Dec.2006 and will be there again shortly, just about my second home!
